Country Singer, Jake Flint Passes Away Few Hours After his Wedding, in His Sleep at The Age of 37

Singer-songwriter Jake Flint passed away, and his loved ones are grieving his passing. The native of Oklahoma, who was best known for his hits “What’s Your Name?” and “Hurry Up and Wait,” passed away on November 26 at the age of 37. Clif Doyal, Flint’s publicist, revealed to The Oklahoman that the country artist died in his sleep only hours after being married to Brenda.

In a statement to E! News on November 30, Doyal said, “He was a prolific composer, recording artist, and in-demand live performer throughout the Midwest and Southwestern U.S..” He was a relentless supporter of his fellow artists, always ready to offer a hand to anybody in need, which is a monument to his generosity and humanity.

He was adored by many people thanks to his contagious grin and endearing sense of humor, and I think that, together with his music, will be his lasting legacy.

What Jake Flint’s Wife Said About His Passing

Brenda Flint, Flint’s wife, also revealed her sadness after her husband unexpectedly passed away.

In a post on Facebook on November 29, she said, “We should be looking through wedding pictures, but instead I have to choose clothing to bury my husband in.” “It’s not supposed to hurt this much for people. I need him to return since my heart has been broken. I can only take so much. I require him here.”

Brenda Cline, the manager of Flint, joined his closest friends and family in celebrating his legacy.

She commented, “I’ve tried multiple times today to make a post, but you can’t remark on what you can’t absorb,” beside a picture of the two on Facebook on November 27. “The image below shows Jake and I signing our artist management agreement with excitement.

That was the start of a fantastic friendship and collaboration. I loved Jake more than anything else; he was like a son to me. The funniest, most amusing, diligent, and hard-working artist I have ever had the pleasure of working with.”

She added, “After he and Brenda got married- which was yesterday- we were just going to start some company together. “I’m not sure how all of Jake’s friends will handle this awful loss because Jake has a ton of them. It’s all so strange; we need prayers.

Please pray for his wife Brenda, his mother, sister, and the rest of his family and friends, as well as for Jake’s dear mother. For so many people, this will be terribly tough. Jake, you are loved and will always be in our hearts.” His cause of death is still unknown at this point.
