Michael Galanos has been a news anchor for CNN since May 2002. Born in the suburbs of the United States, he and his wife are the proud parents of two sons, David and Daniel. The two children went to North Cobb Christian School. Their family has been together for over 15 years, and they are now happy to share their lives with their children. Before joining the CNN news team, Mike Galanos was a local sports anchor for KTVN-TV in Reno, Nevada. His sports knowledge was widely respected, and he worked alongside Ric Renner as a weekend anchor. From 1994 to 2008, Galanos shifted to the national network, becoming a general assignment news anchor. He is currently at HLN in Atlanta as a General Assignment News Anchor. He previously worked for CNN’s sister network, Prime News, and even a local TV station in Reno, Nevada. From 1991 to 1994, he was a reporter for the Men’s NCAA Final Four.
