Biography of CNN’s Claire Celdran Rodriguez


Claire Celdran is a Filipino television presenter. She currently anchors the Headline News on CNN Philippines. Born in the Philippines, she has worked for various broadcast and news outlets. In her hometown, she was also an anchor for the EBRU TV news channel. In 2015, she joined CNN and became a base news reporter in Manila. Since then, she has also anchored CNN’s Headline Weekend and covered various events.

Born on August 22, 1977, Claire Celdran-Rodriguez is a television host and journalist. She was raised in the Philippines and attended Assumption College, San Lorenzo. She has been with CNN Philippines for ten years now and has hosted different programs and segments. Before joining CNN, she worked for ANC, EBRU TV, and Solar News Channel. In addition, she is the niece of broadcast journalist David Celdran.


Claire Celdran-Rodriguez was born on August 22, 1977. She has worked for a number of television stations before joining CNN. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications and is a member of the Philippine Women’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry. She has a son, a daughter, and four sisters.
