Ja Rule and DMX, both from New York, reconciled in 2009 at the 6th Annual “VH1 Hip Hop Honors” taping, which commemorated Def Jam Records’ 25th anniversary.
DMX and Ja Rule posed for photos with fellow Def Jam alumni Ludacris and Foxy Brown at the Brooklyn Academy of Music that night.
DMX’s manager confirmed on September 24 that the photo was not a publicity stunt, putting an end to years of speculation about his relationship with Ja Rule.
He has a new attitude as well as a new team. He has a nice appearance and squashes beefs. According to DMX’s manager Nakia Walker, who spoke to AllHipHop.com, his performances are breathtaking.
The feud between DMX and Ja Rule dates back to 2000, when DMX released the track Do You, which took shots at Ja Rule, claiming the rapper had copied his signature, gruff rapping style.
