Anwar Jibawi was born to Dais Salama, his father, and Amal Jibawi, his mother. Anas Jibawi, Omar Jibawi, Wisam Jibawi, Mohamed Jibawi, and Malik Jibawi are Anwar Jibawi’s five brothers.
He is a Palestinian-American internet personality best known for his Vine and YouTube videos.
Jibawi primarily creates comedic content and has over 7.8 million YouTube subscribers and over 10 million Instagram followers. Shots Studios’ John Shahidi manages him.
Jibawi directed the music video for Aitana (singer) and Lele Pons’ Teléfono (Remix) in November 2018, which has received over 35 million views on YouTube.
In June 2018, he debuted a new series, One Star with Anwar, on Instagram’s new IGTV platform, where he reviews bad online shopping purchases.
Jibawi has worked on sponsored videos for companies like Universal Studios Orlando and The Walking Dead. He appeared in a Brita water filter commercial alongside basketball star Stephen Curry.
