Then we see Francine, his wife and homemaker. They have a daughter named Hayley together. She is old enough to be in college and is a lefty as well as a hippie. They also share a son named Steve, who is in high school and is kind of an asshole.

Along with the Smith family, we also see several major side characters, such as Jeff Fisher, who was previously Hayley’s boyfriend, but they soon get married. Then the family has a goldfish named Klaus. It’s very strange because the brain of this fish actually belonged to an East German athlete.

Then we see an alien in the family named Roger. He is very selfish and only thinks of himself and how he can deceive people. He is also good at disguising himself. Roger has a son named Rogo, who has a tumor, and we see him occasionally on screen. Among the recurring characters who only visit occasionally, we also see Stan’s boss named Avery Bullock. She is the Deputy Director of the CIA.
