American rapper Kwame Brown, who was born on July 4, 1993, is better known by his stage name Foogiano. He hails from Greensboro, Georgia, and is currently signed to the record label 1017 Records, which is owned and operated by Gucci Mane.
His song “Molly,” which was featured in a remix by DaBaby, is the reason for the most of his fame. On November 26, 2020, he presented the world with his first studio album titled Gutta Baby.
Is Foogiano still in jail?
Brown was taken into custody in December 2020 and charged with being a convicted criminal in possession of a handgun. At a hearing on the 14th of December, a judge set his bond at the amount of fifty thousand dollars,
with the conditions that he wear an ankle monitor and remain inside the state of Georgia. In spite of this, Brown managed to destroy his ankle monitor, which resulted in a warrant being issued for his arrest.
After being on the run for three months, Brown was finally taken into custody by federal officials in Memphis, Tennessee, in March of 2021. Brown was found guilty on charges that were connected to his earlier accusations and was sentenced to five years in prison in May of 2021.
