Joseph Elliott Girardi was born on October 14th 1964 in Peoria, Illinois, USA. Joe is a former Major League Baseball player and manager who was a catcher with the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees.
Also played for St. Louis Cardinals during his major league career, which ran 1989 to 2003. He won three world series championships with the Yankees in the 1990’s, bench coach the Yankees (2005), managed Florid Marlin (2006); and was awarded the National League Manager of the year.
He managed the Yankees from 2008 to 2017. Joe also worked as an analyst for MLB Network and Fox sports and was the immediate past manger of the Philadelphia Phillies from October 2019 to June 2022.
Girardi was fired yesterday 3rd June, 2022 as the manager of the Phillies. He married Kimberly Innocenzi in 1990 and has three kids. They were both students at Northwestern University when they met.
They have three children: two daughters, Serena and Lena, and a son, Dante. Serena, his daughter, opted to pursue a career in the film industry.

Kimberly Innocenzi was raised in Lake Forest, North Chicago. She studied at Northwestern university majoring in Master of Education. Kimberly was a good tennis play who mostly played double during her high school days.
After college, she worked as a third degree teacher for sometime before getting married to Joe. She is part of Good News club which is affiliated to the International Child Evangelism Fellowship. Kim hosted many charitable events, including fundraising for stomach cancer research at Yankee stadium.
She is also a big support for Jeo, through thick and thin, which he describes as one of the strong components of the marriage. They reside in Purchase, New York. Not much is known of Kimberly since she kept herself away from social media and the public’s eye.
