Are you a trained teacher who failed your entire or some of your GTLE exams and did not get posted by GES or are you a graduate of any private college of education waiting to partake in the GTLE licensure exams?
Well, the National Teaching Council (NTC) of Ghana has announced a resit registration date for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) for 2023.
The exam is compulsory for all teachers who want to teach in Ghana.
Who should register for the exam?
All teachers who have completed any teacher education program in Ghana or abroad and have not passed the GTLE are required to register for the exam.
Exam Details
The exam will be conducted in two sessions: morning and afternoon. The morning session will consist of numeracy and literacy while the afternoon session will have the professional paper. The exam duration is three hours for each session.
Exam Date and Registration Deadline
The exam will be held on 6th and 7th July 2023 across all regions in Ghana. The registration deadline for the exam is 17th June 2023.
How to Register for GTLE 2023 Resit
Candidates can register for the exam by visiting the NTC online registration portal. They will be required to create an account and follow the registration steps. The registration fee is GHS 220.00.
teachers who have not passed the GTLE are required to register for the resit exam.
The NTC has provided ample time for interested candidates to register before the deadline of 17th June 2023.
